Jeffery D. Berlik
President

Jeff Berlik became the President of Specialty Environmental Services in 1997. After seeing a need for waste disposal and environmental services in Idaho, he created SES, Inc. SES quickly grew with Mr. Berlik's commitment to provide high quality services, invaluable knowledge, trust and customer services to the region. Today, SES provides services to hundreds of customers throughout four states.

Before founding SES, Mr. Berlik built Environmental Waste Management, a division of Environmental Oil, from the ground up, in 1996. From 1996 to 1997 he served as the Division Manager for Environmental Waste Management and Operations Manager for Environmental Oil and Environmental Waste Management.

Mr. Berlik has over nineteen years experience in the environmental and waste disposal business. Since 1985, he spent 11 years at Safety Kleen holding positions as Sales Representative, Branch Zone Supervisor, Branch Industrial Manager and Branch Manager.

Steven P. King
Operations Manager

Steven King joined SES as the Manager of Operations in 2002. Mr. King's responsibilities include the overall management of all waste disposal operations, project management, on-site services, scheduling and sales.

Prior to joining SES, Mr. King was the Operations Supervisor for Onyx Environmental Services, Inc. Prior to being the Operations Supervisor, Mr. King served as an Environmental technician, Field Supervisor, Transportation Manager, Technical Services Specialist, and Project Manager throughout his 12-year career with Onyx. He served in many capacities, managing various divisions and projects in these capacities. His experience with waste disposal in both Management and Operations has provided him with a diverse set of skills to operate all aspects of the complex waste management industry.

Since 1978 Mr. King has held positions in the food processing industry, waste-water treatment industry and the nuclear industry.

Kurt J. Hoagland
Chemist

Kurt Hoagland began his career with SES in 2004. Mr. Hoagland's responsibilities include hazardous, non-hazardous, universal waste disposal, field sampling & chemical analysis, environmental auditing, safety and regulatory compliance, account management and special projects management.

Prior to joining SES as the Environmental Health & Safety Specialist, Mr. Hoagland was the Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist for a large global semiconductor manufacturer. He served in this position from the year 2000 to 2004. In this capacity, he was responsible for the overall environmental regulatory compliance, hazardous waste disposal, safety & environmental auditing, regulatory reporting/permitting and management of environmental health and safety policies.  Mr. Hoagland holds a Bachelor’s degree from Albertson College of Idaho in Chemistry.

Chris D. Uhl
Sales Rep/Environmental Technician

Chris Uhl entered the SES family in April of 2006 as Sales Representative/Environmental Tech.  Mr. Uhl’s responsibilities are company sales, project management, on-site services, account management and hazardous/universal waste disposal.

Prior to joining SES, Mr. Uhl was an Individual Account Consultant, handling numerous customer accounts within a Fortune 500 Company. Mr. Uhl holds a Bachelor’s Degree in General Business Administration from The University of Northern Colorado.
